Summer has finally arrived. July brings many things. For one, Independence Day, July 4, gives us the opportunity to celebrate USA’s birthday. There will be fireworks, cookouts, family get-togethers, among many ways to celebrate. This is usually the time of taking a family vacation to the beach, to an amusement park, to go camping and things like that. Due to COVID-19, vacations will look a little different this year.
As manufacturing restarts, the normal summer shutdown period for retooling, maintenance, and process rationalization projects have been shuffled to different times. Please note, FISA will be closed Friday, July 3, to celebrate Independence Day. If you are planning tool maintenance during your summer shutdown whenever that is, we will be open to support your operation with a full stock of standard inventory components to ship 1-day ARO.
We have supported several customers with new tooling projects in the last several weeks. If you are looking at new tooling, we can support you with a single drop hot runner or a multi drop manifold system. Our patented Plagate system does not need hydraulic or pneumatic actuation to open and close the gate. The pressure developed by the barrel and screw actuate the valve gate.
