Last Monday night we saw the big ball drop from Times Square as 2018 went into the history books and 2019 burst on the scene. The anticipation of what 2019 will bring is exciting. As businesses deploy the business plan they have developed for this year, everyone has the possibility of achieving 100% of their goals.

FISA has a new customer that replaced a cold sprue tool with a Plagate NH2 0512 06 single gate hot runner. They have dramatically reduced cycle time due to cooling time reduction, reduced material usage because the direct gate injection does not require de-gating, and lower ppm scrap rate. Since the initial trial, they have replaced 10 cold sprue tools with the FISA Plagate systems. They are now looking at some multi-gate manifold
systems on some of their other tools.
